April 26th, 2024 Episode #19 •| Liberty University Fined $14 Million for falsely honoring their obligation to uphold the Clergy Act |•

This is heartbreaking, sobering, and sickening to learn about. Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA (my alma mater) has failed to create an honest, safe, and secure campus community. There are SO many other things I can say in addition to what I've mentioned in this episode, however I want to be respectful of my listeners time, and am considering addressing other topics related to other injustices at LU (you can find more information here, along with other sickening scandals within the American church : https://julieroys.com/ ) in other future episodes I'll publish.

April 12th, 2024 Episode #17 •| Out with the old, in with the older|•

In this episode I talk about the idea of downsizing, getting rid of the old stuff we have on hand - stuff we don't use, stuff we don't need, stuff that's just that - stuff! lol if it's taking up space, and keeping you from what really matters and has lasting value, either get rid of it, or seek help to try to break free from the grip it has on you. Sometimes when we get rid of stuff, we can pull stuff out that was in the back of the closet, up on the shelf, or out of sight and mind period.
For some it's thought patterns that need to be taken out to the trash, and replaced with healthier ways of thinking.
I hope this episode encourages you toward getting rid of something that's weighing you down.
